The Outreach Case Worker will work with community partners including a police liaison, and other members of the justice system to prevent, intervene, and suppress criminal activity with youth and young adults in the North Adams, MA community.
Outreach Case Worker primary responsibilities:
- Ability to meet individuals where they are and think on your feet in high stakes situations
- Work with youth referred by local police liaison to identify, engage, recruit, and help young people involved in violent crime in Northern Berkshire;
- Have experience with the criminal justice system and a passion for assisting young people to redirect their lives through education, mental health, and employment services;
- Knowledge & understanding of the systemic, socio-economic, educational & other challenges our youth confront including knowledge of gang culture;
- Keep strong ties to the community, and the ability to create new relationships with program participants and community partners with ease; and

- Family Partner is a staff with lived experience assigned to the Family Resource Centers to provide supportive services to families and parents to advocate, support, educate, coach, and assist families in accomplishing their Care Plan goals and to negotiate and assist families in working with the Wraparound team and to help implement the Family Support Plan.
- Family Partner works closely with the Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) System.
- Knowledge of Pittsfield and surrounding communities required.
Qualifications
- Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs, preferably a youth with mental health needs and or youth experiencing issues related to Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one year of experience working with the target population is preferred

Cello Teaching Artist for Kids 4 Harmony (North Adams and Pittsfield)
(Flexible hours – up to 15 hours/week)

There is flexibility with scheduling. - This teacher will teach fundamental technique on cello with beginning, intermediate, and advanced school-aged string ensembles and lessons focused on age-appropriate skill development for young musicians and building community through ensemble playing.
- Instruction also includes private and semi-private lessons.
