  • The Substance Use Prevention Specialist will work with youth across agency programs; including Pittsfield Community Connection, West Main Connection, Healing Homes, Family Resource Center and Live Out Loud.
  • They will be a subject matter expert in substance use disorder [SUD] to provide both direct services, share best practice standards with agency staff, and outsource referrals.
  • Responsible for organizing and facilitating group activities for youth with a healing atmosphere.
  • Perform routine evaluations, analyze and report results of collected data. [Department of Public Health Training will be provided]
  • Collaborate with leadership on the fulfillment of contract and budget responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements:

    young musicians and building community through ensemble playing. Instruction also includes private and semi-private lessons.

Maintain a strong understanding of foster care issues in MA and Berkshire County; current information and conditions relative to child abuse and neglect; and Berkshire Juvenile Court Procedures. Associate’s Degree; other relevant experience/education; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 2–3 years administrative experience including working with a client database, knowledge of foster care system preferred, volunteer experience preferred.
