We are seeking a welcoming and reliable individual to help ensure all who call or enter 18 Degrees feel welcome, including staff and the people we serve. The individual must immerse themselves in the knowledge of all agency programs and the services they provide. Providing a ‘No Wrong Door’ approach, this individual will
be the subject matter expert for both internal and external connections between service teams and their members. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Data Management:

  • Maintenance of the Organizational Chart for the agency and coordination of the impact to other systems such as ADP, Relias and FAMCare (a web-based database).
  • Maintaining staff directories and building security by following procedures.
  • Entering family/client intake information in FAMCare for programs; and managing meeting calendars

Administrative Duties:

  • Assist in communications, including the monthly agency newsletter and preparing mass mailings.
  • Reserving meeting rooms, printing schedules for meeting room doors.
  • Ordering, maintaining, and organizing office and kitchen supply inventory.
  • Since this position is shared with other employees, all must be cognizant of, relay pertinent information as often as needed, and maintain promptness and consistency when relieving other employees.

Security and Maintenance:

  • Opening/unlocking and/or closing/locking the front door based on 18 Degrees operating hours.
  • Provide a Calander of closing times for the upcoming month to the VP of Finance and Operations and Executive and Office Manager to coordinate with cleaning company

Qualification Requirements: Good to excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, ability to manage many tasks and flexibility in managing tasks in a very busy environment. Pleasing tone and patience. Second Language Skills is desirable.

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent plus secretarial experience.

  • Develop Individual Family Plans (IFP’s) for each family to specify services and create goals, action steps, and timeframe for achievement. Review IFP’s with families regularly to update and adjust as family’s needs and goals change.
  • Develop, coordinate, facilitate parenting classes, educational supports, social supports (grandparent group, English language learner).
  • Case management for parents under 24 includes participation in school, employment, childcare activities, and parenting supports.
  • Collaborate with services already being received and provide referrals to additional supports as needed.
  • Participate in Parent Advisory Meetings.
  • Develop and facilitate engagement activities for families including classes, developmental programs or forums, social events, community engagements, field trips, and monthly collaborative events with Childcare Programs or Family Resource Center.
  • Maintain documentation of all communication with partner agencies (DCF, DTA, EOHLC, CTF, shelters) for priority populations.
  • Case management for Families Experiencing Homelessness includes partnership with homeless shelters, EOHLC, DTA, DCG and other partners. (skill building programs include life skills, parenting workshops, play and support groups and enrichment activities and supports in their communities)

Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with 2-3+ years of experience

Experience:
Working with struggling families, parents of young children, community services and resources. Previous Early Childhood experience preferred. Bilingual skills in Spanish, French, Portuguese or Haitian Creole a plus.

Job Summary (Overall Purpose/Function of Position):
Cook position (30 hours/week with Benefits) will support child care program by preparing daily meals and daily operations in the kitchen, preparation of foods, delivery of foods, tracking allergens, cleaning and maintenance. Cross training for necessary coverage of operations and supply orders, inventory during the absence of the
supervisor. Complete necessary records and documentation in systems. Coach future Cooks by supporting Interns from local high school.

Childcare Meal Coverage

  • Trained to cover meals service and support childcare program.
  • Transport meals to other sites.
  • Cook additional meals service required for all school age programs during school breaks.
  • Gain knowledge through ServSafe and CACFP trainings to allow for oversight of food allergies and child safety.
  • Trained on receiving food deliveries, including documentation & proper handling of products.
  • Fill in for Cook/ Nutritionist Operations when taking time off (personal, sick &; vacation).

Qualification Requirements:  
Education: High School Diploma or GED, ServSafe [Required], Allergen Awareness
Experience:  Basic Kitchen experience 3 months to 1 year

  • This Childcare Enrollment Specialist is a full-time role working for our multiple child care sites.
  • Main responsibilities include working with parents to enroll their children in our childcare program and data entry into administrative systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Experience with intake responsibilities and billing/bookkeeping;
  • Strong organizational skills; and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with/under MA EEC (Early Education and Care) licensing standards, a plus.

  • The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of the Family Resource Center (FRC) operations.
  • The Manager is also responsible for ensuring coordination with the FRC’s Network Service providers; for managing other external community relations; and monitoring community needs. Primary attention and collaboration with the school system and juvenile courts as well as the DCF contract manager.
  • The Manager provides administrative supervision for all FRC staff, including the Clinician, Family Partner, Family Support Workers, School Liaison, Group Childcare Workers, and other FRC program staff.
  • Works with the Clinician to lead trauma informed and clinically competent services.
  • The Manager will oversee coordination of FRC volunteers and work directly with family members and/ or youth, as needed.
  • Responsibilities include regular reporting to the Program Director, contract manager and FRC Network on data management, tracking trends with the court and the Child Requiring Assistance [CRA] process, community at large, managing contract requirements and other administrative duties. Ensuring evidence-based practice and fidelity to models used.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Required Experience: Five years post graduate experience with children and families; [Preferred at least five year’s program development and supervisory experience in human services/related field.]

Other Experience: Experience living & working in the neighborhoods served, with an understanding of issues that those individuals and families face and awareness of the strengths families bring.

Our Family Resource Center in Pittsfield needs a Child and Family Clinician. [No Billing required!] Work with a team to help children and families with mental health issues, behavioral problems, life skills, school issues, parenting skills, growth opportunities and more. Facilitate family initiatives to divert children from the juvenile system. Help us champion access, opportunity, belonging, and well-being for all people on their journey, helping to build thriving communities

  • Champion the Program Director with Clinical supervision and program development, including leading groups.
  • Coach the team in trauma informed practices, case reviews, documentation and best practices.
  • Conduct Trauma Informed Intakes, CANS Assessments, screenings, and other supplemental behavioral needs assessments.
  • Develop family support plans to address and assess family needs and strengths
  • Determine community referral needs and internal programming opportunities.
  • Provide short term individual counseling to children, youth and family with referral recommendation for long term services.
  • Support parents on how to help their child; utilizing Strengthening Families, EMPath Models and other proven best practices for data driven results.

Your Team will include two Family Support workers, School Liaison, Substance Use Disorder diversion specialist, administrative support and the responsibility of directly supervising a Family Partner with Lived Experience.
