Do you enjoy helping our future generation grow and succeed? The classroom liaison is responsible:

  • To help each child attain success in the classroom.
  • Utilize the Second Step Curriculum to facilitate group activities for children in partnership with their classroom teacher to support social/ emotional growth and competency.
  • Help teachers brainstorm ways to help children build on their regulation and coping skills.
  • Act as a liaison between care givers, child care staff and other supportive services.
  • Work with Collaterals including pediatricians, school system resources, early intervention providers, etc.

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Experience: Two or more years of human service experience, preferred. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a classroom or group care setting preferred. Experience with child development and/or child welfare. Bi-lingual (Spanish)/multi-lingual abilities, preferred.

The Cook/Nutritionist is a full-time role performing meal preparation for our multiple childcare sites. Duties and

Responsibilities include:  

  • Meal Preparation and Programing
  • Following and preparing weekly menu based on USDA standard requirements
  • Manage Special Meal Accommodations and Food Allergy meals substitutions for children
  • Provide guidance to Educators and annual trainings
  • Responsible for Commodities [i.e., Food] and additional ordering within budget
  • Coordinate with teachers/directors for offsite meal deliveries and special events Kitchen Maintenance and Safety, including Serv-safe Certifications and Allergen Certification
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance of refrigerator, freezer, oven, and stove
  • Cleaning and organizing, washing, and storing dishes and cooking utensils Management Duties
  • Oversight of an Assistant Cook and High School Interns
  • Responsible for inventory management and documentation
  • Take lead on licensing and permits as required for kitchen service areas
  • Comply with Regulations

Education Required:  HS Diploma, Nutrition or Culinary training
License(s) Required: SAFE SERVE Certified

  • Main responsibilities include working with parents to enroll their children in our childcare program and data entry into administrative systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Experience with intake responsibilities and billing/bookkeeping;
  • Strong organizational skills; and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with/under MA EEC (Early Education and Care) licensing standards, a plus.
  • Must also be a team player, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to problem solve independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • The position provides evidence-based programming to families throughout Berkshire County.

  • The successful candidate must have dependable transportation, excellent organizational skills, good writing/computer skills;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and two years of relevant experience.
  • Must be available to work an occasional evening or Saturday.

Part-time Hourly Workers Needed to Complete Assessments & Adoption Home Studies Writers are needed to complete Permanency Assessments for pre-adoptive families and Child

Assessments for children with the goal of adoption. Strong clinical skills are required. Experience in writing assessments, and the ability to assess and edit your own work is necessary. Understanding the adoption process and a working knowledge of the Department of Children and Families is an asset. The ability to develop a rapport, to conduct in-depth interviews with adults and children is vital to completing the work. This work is completed independently, requiring attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Ongoing supervision provided.  MSW, LCSW preferred.
