Social Worker for Intensive Foster Care Program
Full time position in the Pittsfield, MA office for individual looking to help children, youth and families adjust to the challenges of the foster care system while promoting safety, well-being and permanency.
Responsibilities include training and assessing prospective foster parents; offering support and supervision of foster parents in monthly home visits and workshops; managing licensing requirements through evaluations, documentation, file maintenance and meetings with state agency; meeting, matching and placing children/youth experiencing foster care with foster families.
Other responsibilities include case management to assist in the improvement of the social, educational and emotional functioning of children/youth experiencing foster care. Visit with children/youth at their foster home or school, make referrals for services, collaborate with service providers and develop permanency plans.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and a social work license (LSWA minimum) or be eligible for licensure. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, the ability to build rapport with children/youth and families are required. Clinician Needed for Youth Programming in Pittsfield and North Adams
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, skilled, licensed clinician with experience working with adolescents and young adults. STRONGLY PREFERRED: Clinical experience with community, regional and multi-disciplinary approaches to trauma and violence through coordinated programs for prevention, intervention, and suppression with at-risk or proven risk youth and young adults.

We’re looking for a dynamic, skilled clinician experienced in working with youth and families. Must have one of the following licenses: LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW. Master’s Degree required. This position is employed by the Brien Center, but housed in 18 Degrees’ (formerly Berkshire Children and Families) Family Resource Center located at 480 West St. in Pittsfield, MA. Collaborates with the juvenile court, supervises a family partner with lived experience, and works closely with the Family Resource Center staff to clinically advise and support. Provides CANS assessments, and brief therapy in special circumstances/for various parenting and other evidence-based groups. Family Networks Service Coordinator - Greenfield
Service Coordinators drive the everyday work of Family Networks and are responsible for the placement and case management of youth in Comprehensive Foster Care and STARR, as well as managing in-home, family-based services. The role manages caseloads of 40-60 families, children and youth; develops and maintains a strong partnership with DCF, families, and Intensive Foster Care Agencies; coordinates services to achieve goals and outcomes of services identified in the DCF service plans; monitors service implementation; and ensures coordination with providers and DCF. Minimum of a BA in a social work or a related field required, MSW preferred. Experience required: MSW or equivalent, plus 2 years of family-centered, community-based experience, or Bachelor’s plus 5 years family-centered welfare related experience.
