Director of Finance (full time)
Main responsibilities include:
Responsibility for overall financial plans and accounting practices. Prepare and monitor organization budget. Oversee accounting and audit system controls and standards in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. Ensure timely financial and statistical reports for management and board. Provide financial analyses and interpret financial data, recommending changes to improve systems and financial performance. Prepare contract budgets, working with program managers to achieve optimal cost recovery. Work with independent auditors to prepare annual financial statements and comply with state and federal reporting requirements; report on financial activities to management, the Board of Directors and outside funding sources.
Direct Report(s): (3 FTE) Senior Accountant, Accounting Clerk, Payroll Clerk.
Reports to the President and CEO.
Education Required: BA in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum Required Experience: 8 years of progressive, relevant experience including minimum 3 years of supervisory and management experience
License(s): CPA helpful, but not required.
