Family and Child Support Coordinator - Intergenerational Treehouse Community


As part a dynamic, innovative team, the Family Support Coordinator (FSC) will provide and develop best practice trauma-informed services to meet the emerging needs of children and families living in the diverse Treehouse Community. Treehouse is an award-winning intergenerational community designed to promote permanency for children who have experienced foster care. Older adults in the Community volunteer their time to support families, children, and youth, often becoming “honorary grandparents.” The Treehouse FSC will offer foster/adoptive competent child, youth and family support services, including out of school time programming. This is a full time 37.5 hour position and requires capacity for some early evening and occasional weekend hours. Qualification Requirements: Education: MSW/Master’s Degree preferred; Equivalent clinical, educational degree and experience will be considered. Required Experience: Knowledge/expertise in human development, attachment, trauma, loss, foster care and pre- through post-adoption issues. Demonstrated success with program development and implementation, creative use of resources. Experience and training in working with diverse families and communities. Duties and Responsibilities • Effectively engaging and partnering with parents, youth, community members, interns, and volunteers. • Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills; commitment to a strengths-based approach. • Responding compassionately to emerging needs of families and transitional youth approaching adulthood and independence. • Ability to work effectively, creatively, and flexibly within dynamic community and program settings. • Ability to create and maintain an environment that promotes emotional regulation & well-being. • Commitment to an intergenerational teaming approach with children, youth, families and elders. • Ability to practice cultural humility and experience working in a culturally responsive way with diverse populations • Providing supervision and training of interns and volunteers. • Documentation and evaluation of progress toward individual and program goals. • Solid computer and technology skills, including proficiency with video conferencing apps, such as Zoom and Caribou. • Ability to use technology creatively to promote connection, learning and independence. • Collaborating with partner organizations • Experience facilitating groups and working with different age groups, life stages and physical/mental abilities. • Personal experience with foster care and/or adoption is a plus.

Employment Manager - Gun Violence Prevention Program


The Employment Manager works with youth (program participants) and GVP Case Manager to assess participant job-readiness, aptitudes and interests; consults with the GVP Case Manager on skill-building to create job-readiness plans for program participants. The Employment Manager serves as liaison in the community to meet/engage business owners and prospective employers; orient them to the GVP program and mission; and develop and maintain relationships/arrangements for youth in the program to receive training, subsidized employment and/orjobs. Qualification Requirements: Education Required: B.A. in education, human services, or related field strongly preferred. Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2-5 years' experience with community employment training/assessment/placement for youth populations in organizational, institutional and educational settings. Experience: Gun violence prevention and/or gang intervention/prevention experience preferred; Strong computer and internet skills including, Microsoft Office; Strong interpersonal communication skills. Program Director - Gun Violence Prevention Program


The Program Director - GVP is responsible for representing the program as the Community Backbone and for building the Community Coalition of organizations and agencies that are committed to addressing this problem. The Program Director - GVP will develop and implement the Youth Advisory Board and, with their input and oversight, the community strategy. The Program Director – GVP has responsibility for GVP program operations, as well as the program budget, data collection and reporting, and the administrative aspects of the GVP program. Works in direct, partnership with Senior Director and Program Director of Pittsfield Community Connection to oversee and maximize the coordination and collaboration of gang intervention and gun violence prevention programming, efforts, and services. Qualification Requirements: Education: MSW or equivalent, strongly preferred. Minimum Required: Associates Degree or higher in human services or related field. Experience: 2-3 years of program-supervisory experience working within the local community agencies and employers in a human services capacity. Gun violence and/or gang intervention/prevention experience preferred. Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Family Networks Service Coordinator - Greenfield

The role manages caseloads of families, children and youth; develops and maintains a strong partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), agencies, programs and families; coordinates services to achieve goals and outcomes of services identified in the DCF service plans; monitors service implementation; and ensures coordination with providers and DCF.
